Great information about Towan Beach
Towan Beach is one of the town beaches and is situated right next to the harbour. So you basically go the the centre of town and take the road down to the beach, there is no parking down there (not free aprking anyway) so you will have to walk or get droped off. It is a lovely beach that is more sheltered from swell on certain days so the water is nice and calm for all ages. You can get a little waves there and tehre is a lifeguard service and places to rent surfboards and bodyboards.
The Blue Reef Aquarium is down on the bach edge and is a great day out for everyone. Tey have loads of cool aquarium exibits and a large tank with a walk throug tunnel, so you can look up and see all the interesting fish.
Towan is in the mddle of town so you are close to shops and toilets.
